30/1..
yes, it means I am here for 6 months already, but, eventhough I m here for just
6 months, but I do face a lot of things.
I m falling in love with this place and the people. People here are so warm and
I really love the kampong lifestyle. Aespecially the FOOD!. But I m not here to talk about the kampong
style. I wanted to share about teaching and learning. After few months beign
here, I was appointed as a on of the speakers for Teaching and learning course
for all new academicians here. Huwaaa.. and my topic is all about the IT and
its usage blab la for the purposes of teaching and learning. I do learn a lot
from the net also from the books that I have read. On the first time, I do not
know what to explain, but as time goes by, Alhamdulillah I can easily explain
everything about the topic given. heheh... Thank God!.. and I admit that my English
is not that good. But, still I m trying to be as good as possible..insyaALLAH..
nobody’s perfect! I do have mentor, Syed (he s now doin his PhD, Honestly..being
a Govt. servant is not that difficult..Alhamdulillah..i managed to tackle all
the juggles.. (Wut am i trying to say????) hahahha... ok..i short..i m done
with the first P&P..now comes again..P&P for the new comers.. hmm..
first session in 2012..
today.. i received email from ida..(standby to be a speaker in next P&P)..(
was told by Dr N to be an invited speaker when i invigilated k.Zaleria's
Japanese Lang. Final Exam..hmm..okk...my request was to shift my session to the
morning session coz last time.my TIME was STOLEN by the earlier speaker..left
with me jst 30 minutes..which was supposed to be 1.15 hr..but..well
alhamdulillah..i managed to complete the session on time...#dah lambat
kan..bebel2 lebih2 pon bukan org nk dgr..sume dah sandang beg sesiap..takkn tak
paham kot..kan)
..last time
..i spoke about the slides..ppt, the use of tech in P&P..(honestly, to talk
about this is not that difficult..coz I came from IT background..and
alhamdulillah..im used to it..i mean i m used to speak in from of crowds..since
i was in iiu..and also when i was in ib* i used to be the rep. to bring
expatriates to our sites..(was Ipoh )..several times..and as usual we have to
build a very nice relationship with our clients..then...the you go..when we
talk with our audience..then we are actually make a relationship with them..so
that ..we can make an eye contact while we deliver our talk..(chewah..now i m
talking about SEMASA *WHILE) giving the talk..hmmm...well.. there are several
things that we need to keep it to us as the speaker..or i oso can say that for
us..as a lecturer..(singular) LECTURERS (plural)...we need to ensure that :-
1) what are we going to deliver
1) what are we going to deliver
2) what are
we going to use
3) why must
we use
4) For what
purpose
And so on so
forth..
Finally, as
a speaker, we have to be positive and always live up the session.
**finger
tipping here n there ***, its not that difficult to bring the audience to
us..to be continued.. :) (time to check in with my lovey dovey)
